Join GRAWA's DEI committee and the National Council of Jewish Women, Greater Rochester Section for the 2025 Annual MLK Day of Service and 4th Annual PAD ("Provide Access and Dignity") party. This volunteer event is aimed at promoting menstrual health and dignity where participants will work together to assemble kits containing essential menstrual hygiene products such as pads, tampons and liners. The completed kits will be distributed to the Community Food Cupboard, Refugees Helping Refugees and other community organizations supporting individuals in need. The event fosters collaboration, raises awareness about period poverty, and provides a tangible way for volunteers to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who may face challenges in obtaining such essential items.

There is no cost to attend, but RSVPs are required. Please RSVP here by January 13th to secure your spot.

We will hold a collection drive in advance of the event. We need approximately 3,800 individually wrapped menstrual pads (not bladder control pads), 750 tampons, and 1,150 individually wrapped panty-liners. Please drop off any of these personal hygiene product donations during regular business hours at the following locations by 3:00pm on Monday, January 13, 2025:
