Metabolic Syndrome Screening Canceled

Regrettably, our primary sponsor, the Women's Heart Program at Strong, lost the funding necessary to offer free Metabolic Syndrome screening at the Hall of Justice.  However, you can still learn more about Metabolic Syndrome and screenings by contacting The Women's Heart Program at the Strong Heart and Vascular Center directly at (585) 341-7791, or by talking to your physician.

 

GRAWA Women's Health Committee: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a term referring to two chronic lung diseases characterized by obstruction to airflor that interferes with normal breathing.  The two most common forms of COPD are chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

Printer Cartridge Recycling Program

SThe current recycling program GRAWA participates in was suspended due to vendor issues.  We have enrolled in a new program and are currently waiting new supplies.  If you have current recycling bags, please discard them.  A notice will be sent when the new supplies are available.  Thank you for your support of GRAWA through this program.
