JEC Releases Judicial Ratings

GRAWA's Judicial Evaluation Committee (JEC) convened recently to review the qualifications of four candidates running for seats on the Monroe County Surrogate’s Court and Rochester City Court.  The Committee found all of the candidates to be qualified or highly qualified.

The University of Rochester Children's Center, located at the Monroe Count Hall of Justce, provides 1) a physical and emotional safe haven for children while their parents are at court, 2) a resource to the court, and 3) a setting in which children and families at-risk of poor outcomes can be connected to needed services. SUNY Buffalo Law School's Women, Children & Social Justice Clinic Fellowships

The Catherine Cerulli Women, Children, and Social Justice Research Award will assist a student with research, such as funding travel to present at a conference or to seek publication of research findings. The Suzanne E. Tomkins Women, Children and Social Justice Advocacy Fellowship will fund work by a law student on a specialized project to advocate on the issue of intimate partner violence. To Make a Donation
