Seeking Nominations for Family Friendly Employer Award

The Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys Family and Careers Committee is accepting nominations for the BIENNIAL GRAWA/MCBA FAMILY FRIENDLY EMPLOYER AWARD. You may nominate any legal employer in the Monroe County area, in either the public or private sector. Anyone familiar with the employer can submit a nomination. Nominations must be received by April 18, 2014

University of Rochester Children's Center

The University of Rochester Children's Center, located at the Monroe Count Hall of Justce, provides 1) a physical and emotional safe haven for children while their parents are at court, 2) a resource to the court, and 3) a setting in which children and families at-risk of poor outcomes can be connected to needed services. Please consider a donation.

SUNY Buffalo Law School's Women, Children & Social Justice Clinic Fellowships

The Catherine Cerulli Women, Children, and Social Justice Research Award will assist a student with research, such as funding travel to present at a conference or to seek publication of research findings. The Suzanne E. Tomkins Women, Children and Social Justice Advocacy Fellowship will fund work by a law student on a specialized project to advocate on the issue of intimate partner violence. To Make a Donation
