GRAWA/Big Brother Big Sister Mentoring Program Holds Celebration for Graduates
GRAWA Diversity Committee Seeking Mentors The GRAWA Diversity Committee and the Rochester City School District's Law Academy have partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Rochester in a Mentoring Partnership which matches high school students who hope to become lawyers with GRAWA mentors who act as positive role models and provide experiences to enable the students to achieve their academic and career goals. We are seeking ten new or repeating mentors to begin the 2008/2009 school year. We hope to complete training and background checks this Summer, so Mentors and Mentees can get started early in the Fall. This is a wonderfully successful program that adds much to the lives of both the students and their mentors. Printer Cartridge Recycling Program SThe current recycling program GRAWA participates in was suspended due to vendor issues. We have enrolled in a new program and are currently waiting new supplies.
