At
a national conference in Baltimore, the National Association of Personnel
Services (NAPS) recognized Jennifer McCall-LaSalle, President of McCall
Staffing Associates, Ltd., with their national Ethics Award. NAPS,
established in 1961, selects one individual in the recruiting industry
each year whose commitment, credibility, integrity, and vision reflects
the Association's high standards of ethical business practices.
McCall
Staffing Associates (MSA) joins a handful of national companies that
have been recognized for exemplary ethical practices in the marketplace
including high standards of behavior towards customers, employees,
suppliers, and the community at large. Since the formation of MSA
in 1996, the firm has specialized in the professional and administrative
staffing needs of the legal, medical, corporate, insurance and financial
services industries, developing trusted relationships with employers
and job candidates alike.
“We
are committed to setting a tone for business integrity,” said McCall-LaSalle,
a native of the United Kingdom and graduate of Chelmsford College
. “Our business culture is based on relationships, which mandates
the highest ethical behavior and creates an atmosphere that is ‘character'
focused. We understand the importance of corporate conscience and
embrace the responsibility to fulfill our obligations in both the
workplace and the marketplace.”
MSA's
company tag line - Setting the “Hire” Standard - speaks not only to
the work ethic of McCall-LaSalle and her staff, but demonstrates the
firm's commitment to the community. As owner/president, she is an
active participant in numerous professional and community organizations,
and at any point in time someone from her office is likely to be involved
in a charitable endeavor. Just last year, McCall-LaSalle obtained
pledges for the Ontario-Yates Hospice when she competed in a swim
across Canandaigua Lake.
In
regard to her own staff, McCall-LaSalle is supportive of flexible
schedules to enable a balanced family life, and is committed to addressing
diversity issues. In addition to a standardized training program culminating
in NAPS certification, her office has adopted “standard operating
procedures” to ensure each candidate and client receives the same
level of respect and service.
