In the News - May and June

Aimee Allen gave birth to a baby boy, Harrison David, on April 9 , 2006.  Harrison was in such a rush to arrive that he was practically born in  Aimee's  driveway. 

 

Condolences are extended to Nora Jones on the death of her father.

To start the month of June, Regina MacAdam delivered a 9 lb. baby girl – Mary Elizabeth MacAdam.

 

Melanie Sarkis joined the firm of Harris Beach LLP after several years with Trevett Lenweaver & Salzer P.C.

If you haven't seen Brenda Wonder or Leslie Swift lately, then you may not know that both are expecting babies in 2005!

Suzanne (Amico) Cognata will be returning to her former firm, Gould & Peck, on July 1 as a partner.

 

At the WBASNY convention in Cooperstown , Margaret Burt received the Stephanie Kupferman Juvenile Justice Award. She said, ”I was thrilled to receive the award and to have friends and colleagues from GRAWA present to see me receive it. It was inspiring to see and mingle with so many women attorneys with interesting and successful career paths.”

 

Lisa Powers was named to the board of directors of Rochester Women's Network.
